Alex Barba
I started my aviation journey in 2020 at ATP Flight School at Centennial Airport (APA) after working at a tech startup in Downtown Denver. I successfully completed the Career Track 100-hour Multi-Engine program in April 2021 as a CFI, CFII and MEI. I then began my flight instructor career at McAir Aviation in Broomfield (BJC) as a 141 instructor for both single and multi-engine land. I also conducted progress checks as a check airmen.
I began flying Cirrus Aircraft in 2023 for a Cirrus Training Center and quickly learned to fly all three Cirrus airframes: SR20, SR22T, and the SF50! These incredible aircraft allowed me to learn to fly throughout the United States to the most challenging airspaces and airports. In 2025, I completed the CSIP course at the Cirrus Vision Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
I am excited to help you on your aviation journey whether you are a professional pilot or general aviation pilot.
When I am not flying I am spending time with my wife and two boys along with our German Shepherd, Forrest. I love the Colorado Avalanche, playing hockey and golf, and visiting home in Reno and Lake Tahoe.
